Counselling

Counselling is an opportunity to talk through concerns and difficulties with someone who has undergone professional training to be able to provide a confidential, non judgmental environment where you can explore any issues in a way that feels right for you. Below are some issues that might be explored in therapy:

  • Low self-esteem, Depression, Anger
  • Drugs and/or alcohol problems
  • Bereavement, Anxiety, Stress, Confusion
  • Family conflicts, Relationship issues
  • Loneliness, Bullying, Eating problems
  • Abuse

Sometimes the problem is less clear and you may feel low, confused, overwhelmed and life can become difficult with a sense of unease. This can lead to not feeling able to cope, causing increased worry which may be unsettling. Our first meeting will be an assessment, which we can use to discuss what you need from counselling. Once we have met and agreed to work together, we’ll arrange to meet regularly over a number of weeks or months.
